    Introduction


    The methane sensor, operating at 3.3V, utilizes TD-LAS technology with a 1653.7nm laser to identify methane by its unique absorption spectrum, unaffected by water vapor or other gas interference. Its design combines direct and wavelength modulation absorption techniques, featuring an "N" type optical path structure for extended detection sensitivity. Using a low-temperature laser and temperature compensation algorithms, it performs reliably in diverse environments. Its standard interface and protocol allow broad compatibility, making it widely applicable in methane leak detection systems in industries such as mining, catering, and industrial chemicals.

    After the sensor is powered on, it goes through a period of preprocessing (6-10s) and then begins to periodically (1Hz) output a fixed-length string. The string format is shown in the figure above.
