The KWL801B-RS485 radar level sensor is a state-of-the-art device conforming to the national standard DB50/T 826-2017 for level meters. Its core component employs a fully sealed IP68 waterproof design, ensuring that the product stays safe even in harsh environments.
The maximum range of measurement of the KWL801B-RS485 radar level sensor extends up to 40 meters, with an ultra-minimal blind spot of less than 6 cms. The product offers superior accuracy, thanks to its higher frequency and broader bandwidth.
This radar level sensor features a fixed bracket for quick and easy installation. We understand that the installation process is equally essential, and hence we designed a simple installation method that is both time-saving and accurate.

(1) Ensure that the sensor is perpendicular to the medium surface.
(2) Avoid the transmitting beam from irradiating interference objects and generating false echoes.
See the following for typical working conditions:
Radar level sensor is a device that uses the principle of time domain reflection (TDR) to accurately measure the level of liquids or solids. The sensor uses an electromagnetic pulse that propagates along a cable or probe at the speed of light.
When the pulse meets the surface of the measured medium, part of it is reflected back to the pulse transmitter as an echo. The pulse then travels back along the same path it came from. The distance between the transmitter and the surface of the measured medium is in direct proportion as the propagation time of the pulse.
Using the propagation time of the pulse, the radar level meter can calculate the height of the medium being measured. This is achieved by using the time taken for the pulse to travel from the transmitter to the surface of the measured medium and back again to the transmitter.
