KCW106 Composite Electro - adsorption

Introduction

The composite electro - adsorption device is a kind of water treatment technology based on electrochemical technology, which is widely applied to various circulating cooling water systems.

Working Principle

The pulsed electric field emitted by the controller acts on the anode and cathode electrodes, forming an electrochemical reaction in the water. An oxidation reaction occurs on the surface of the inert anode made by a special process, generating oxidizing substances such as active oxygen and available chlorine. Meanwhile, a reduction reaction takes place on the surface of the cathode, producing hydroxide ions and creating a relatively high alkaline environment.

Function of the Cathode

When the circulating water passes through the equipment, a strong alkaline environment is formed near the cathode. This causes calcium ions and magnesium ions in the circulating water to precipitate from the water and deposit on the surface of the cathode. They are then discharged from the system through regular cleaning.

Function of the Anode

Chloride ions near the anode are transformed into hypochlorous acid and other oxidizing substances, which will continuously kill and inhibit bacteria and algae in the water. At the same time, the active ionic water can form a protective film on the inner wall of the pipeline and the heat exchanger of the equipment, preventing the corrosion of the pipeline and the equipment.

The Angelon composite electro - adsorption device is composed of five parts, including: anode and cathode electrodes, a vibration pump, a scale discharge valve, a control system, and a housing.
